This is one of those classic - why did I open my mouth moments.
The chair of Auckland City Councils transport committee has put forward the idea of demolishing the harbour bridge to solve the traffic issues. If people cant drive into the city - there wont be traffic issues. On one level he's right, but as expected thats gone down like the proverbial cup of cold sick.
How do people such little political nous get into these positions? A monkey could have told you thats a daft way to frame your argument!

Has he thought of demolishing Auckland? Pretty sure thats one thing Welligtonians, and the rest of the country would not mind paying a little extra for.
