Ive spent the day helping a couple of dyke friends of mine move into their new bach with another dyke couple also helping out.
They introduced me to the Lesbian interior design techniques. Apparently while a lot of people think the koru is a Maori design, its actually a Lesbian one, the same with Swirls and bits of driftwood tacked together and used as a shoe rack/coat hook etc.
Tacky beach lezza chic as they called it.

basically anything tacky/homemade/poorly constructed/ethnic (not your own ethnicity - chinese lanterns are a fav)
