The Victorian State Govt is apparently going to invest A$220 million to create a theme park outside Melbourne.
A. Does it really need it? Isn't the city already a pretty good attraction in itself?
and B. Why ruin the already fantastic Werribee Open Range Zoo by turning it into Dreamworld 2.0?
I think this could largely destroy what is a great attraction. If you get the chance, you should check it out before the bulldozers move in and while you're out there - visit the Shadowfax winery. I had one of the best glasses of red I've ever had there. The Lord of the Rings reference to the king of horses in the name, is a nod to the state equestrian centre next door.
